The famous bartenders, Sam and Xavi, had a mission to impress us and they created cocktails that really blew us away. And no wonder, they are professionals and the place itself is the most glamorous and stylish venue in Puerto Banus, where you feel like you’re in fancy cocktail bar in a big city. It might be hard to believe, but they make so many amazing cocktails & creations with a fresh clean stylish design.
Ranging from classic to eclectic, their cocktail recipes serve to every taste, occasion, and season.. We had two amazing rounds of cocktails and the first ones were Cinnamon Cosmopolitan, Kiwi Smash, Cherry Cobler and Pineapple Cobbler.
Cointreau, vodka, lime juice, cranberry juice
The perfect cocktail for classy ladies - super chic and stylish, plus unlike the original cosmopolitan, this one has a great twist in the taste - a touch of cinnamon!
Kiwi, apple, gin, orgeat, maraschino
We found this cocktail extremely delicious and we could hardly taste the alcohol in it. It felt more like you are drinking a healthy yummy smoothie.
Mango, cherry, gin, orgeat, lemon juice
The Cherry Cobbler is a sweet, tart, and overall great cocktail. There’s a rich palate of different flavors that all shine through in a huge way. If you don’t know what orgeat is, then let us enlighten you - Orgeat syrup is a sweet syrup made from almonds, sugar and rose water or orange flower water. It was, however, originally made with a barley-almond blend. It has a pronounced almond taste and is used to flavor many cocktails.
Rum, lemon juice, sugar, blackberry liquor
By far the best cocktail in this group. Extremely surprising taste, because of the cardamon. Perfect cocktail to start the night or to have is as a dessert after dinner.
The next round of cocktails were Bromble, Jungub, Rose Water Martini and Deep Sea Dark & Stormy.
Pisang ambon, Midori, Malibu, pineapple juice, sourmix
A lovely sweet cocktail where the ingredients hide the taste of alcohol. For sure to get you tipsy faster than you thought!
Deep Sea Dark & Stormy
Muddled Nashi pear and limes, mixed with a dash of Aztec Chocolate Bitters. Hard stirred with Kracken Spiced Rum and drowned in Ginger Beer.
This cocktail was one of the best, because of the presentation and jar that it came in. And there is nothing dark about it, all we saw was smiling faces after tasting it!
Rum, pineapple, lime, orgeat, raspberry, bitter
Bright as a tropical moon, smooth as summer surf, rich as old Lurline passengers, cool and fresh as green limes, the Mai Tai is Hawaii's favorite drink. One sip and you feel like you’re in Hawaii!
Gin, lemon juice, sugar, blackberry liquor
A great explosion of flavours, but to be honest it didn’t make it into our list of favourites since there were other cocktails we loved too much!
Small Batch Whisky
Lemon juice, organic brown sugar and egg whites shaken hard with Woodford reserve Small Batch Kentucky Bourbon and a dash of plum bitters.
An elegant drink which you will love even if you’re not a whiskey drinker. And the most original garnishing ever!
Sam is the creative mixologist and blender of the company who is the brain behind all our products and Xavier is a genius skilled in the art and craft of mixing complex cocktails in a simplistic way. These two together behind the bar is a dream team to have and what can we say..
Not probably, but certainly, this is the best cocktail bar in Costa del Sol!
