El Corte Ingles launchs loyalty card16-08-2010
The loyalty card is targeted specifically at foreign residents
Since its launch four years ago, What’s Hot, El Corte Inglés’ quarterly magazine for the English speaking resident on the coast, has proved to be a great success. With latest news from the Coast’s favourite shopping centres from Málaga to Algeciras it showcases the best new trends for inspirational shopping.
The magazine covers everything from, easy shopping, wearable fashion, confidence-boosting beauty, the hottest trends, international foods and seasonal tips as well as highlighting some of the special products, promotions and services that El Corte Inglés offers. What’s Hot is the magazine for smarter shopping at El Corte Inglés.
Following this fantastic response there has been an addition to the portfolio with the introduction of the What’s Hot Loyalty card to further enhance the shopping experience. Tailor made for foreign residents in Spain it offers special highlighted discounts from popular brands as well as in-house promotions, where cardholders are spoilt for choice. Airport parking, golf packages, cinema visits, tasty discounts on food and drink, beauty product give-aways, spa treatments, birthday goodies and car washes are to name a few. Rather than a form of payment, it is the ultimate discount card. Offers are updated monthly at www.whatshot.es and by email to What’s Hot cardholders.
Applying for a What’s Hot Loyalty Card is easy. Simply fill in the application form at the Customer Service Desk (2nd Floor) at El Corte Inglés, Puerto Banús and you will be issued with your new card immediately. Alternatively apply online at www.whatshot.es and your new card will be personalised and ready for your collection at the wedding department on your next visit to El Corte Inglés.
Enjoy better shopping and leisure with What’s Hot!

In December, I also complained about staff not knowing about promotion but unluckily did not get same treatment. it was very offhand and I felt that I was given the runaround.
I went to Marbella on the day the voucher went out and as the staff didn't know about the promotion I made a complaint. From there I was contacted and got invited by Gaël Vignon, the Marketing Director, who called me personally to invite you me for a splendid lunch for 2 people at the restaurant, for FREEEEE! It was GREAAAAATTTTT! El Corte Ingles wins hands down on customer service for me!!!
according to the magazine this card entitles you to a two for one english breakfast in either puertobanus or mijas costa corte ingles. Unfortunately mijas costa know nothing about this. Good start
