How EMS technology works
As its name suggests, the EMS technology provides direct muscle stimulation via the specially designed pads which are strapped against specific muscles. This causes the muscles to contract and relax as they would naturally behave during exercise. Although electric pulse treatments have been around for a while, this technology is the result of years of research. Today’s equipment is fifth generation, comprising ten pairs of electrodes attached to durable yet breathable fabric which can be secured directly to the muscle group, and a control console to regulate the voltage and frequency.
