Cavalli Club Lounge Menu Testing
10-08-2015Inspired by and launched in collaboration with celebrated designer, Roberto Cavalli, Cavalli Club is the distillation of all things fabulous.
The team of i-Marbella had the pleasure of testing Cavalli Club Lounge's menu.
Just like Cavalli's fashion, his club is luxurious and high class. Approaching the club, you are sure to spot the shining logo, red carpet, and muscular security guards. The staff are always well-dressed, friendly, and polite as well as very professional in their work. From the very start, virtually everything seems comfortable, secure, and glamorous.
After being escorted to the table, we ordered water as well as white and rose wine (Garnacha By ARTADI 2014).
For starters, we chose a selection of breads with marinated olives along with Tuna Tartare di Tonno. Tuna Tartare di Tonno should be particularly mentioned as it was very juicy and delicious.
Following the starters, we had four main dishes. The first one was Grilled King Prawns in Parsley Butter Served with Roasted Asparagus that was served on a special rose plate. The dish itself was mouth-watering and was very good.
The second main dish was Lobster Ricotta, which had a surprising dark brown colour and a strong taste that was, however, very special. We had our second main dish with Albarino Pionero Mundi, white wine.
The third dish was Pizza Funghi with cheese, tomato, and mushrooms. The nice thing about the little round-shaped pizzas was that they were airy and delicious.
The fourth main dish was Prime Rack of Lamb Served with Mash Potato and Asparagus. The lamb was well-done, and was appropriately served with a glass of red Ripasso Valpolicella Giuseppe Campagnola wine.
Our dessert was a classic -- Tiramisu. When testing a restaurant's menu, I always go for lamb and tiramisu. If these two dishes are perfect, then the place is perfect! The tiramisu at Cavalli Club Puerto Banus was fantastic in terms of serving (in a glass), ingredients, and taste.
To sum our experience up, the food at Cavalli Club Lounge was exceptional. Tony Perez, Chef, is a true professional. Javier Romero, Manager, was with us the whole evening and seemed to know literally everything about the dishes and the drinks!
