Beauty Tips from Korinna Kocsis06-12-2013
Korinna Kocsis is a model and ex beauty queen from Hungary who is the face of Look Your Best fitness and lifestyle studio in Puerto Banus and here she shares her tips for looking and feeling great. Nyugat Királynője 2008.
What are your top beauty tips and products?
I really like make-up and feel it completes your look, however cleansing properly is crucial to make sure your skin stays in great condition. I remove my make-up carefully every night using cleanser and toner, before applying a good moisturizer to keep my skin soft and supple and these are absolutely essential for any beauty regime.
Three times a week I use good exfoliator for the face, to cleanse deeply. To keep my hair in great condition I use an Argan Oil Mask regularly.
Can you share a few health tips with us?
Staying properly hydrated is a must - I drink two cups of natural green tea and one simple lemon with water every day, as well as two litres of water.
There’s no doubt that eating a good mix of vegetables and fruits and making an effort to eat natural, unprocessed foods makes you feel and look better and keeps you in great shape.
I like to use a sauna regularly to detoxify and cleanse deeply as well as relax, the sauna is specially cleaned of harmful toxins. I also like to sunbathe (with sun protection of course), a little sun gives the mood a boost, as well as giving the body much needed vitamin D and of course a healthy glow! Furthermore, I take 1000mg vitamin C per day to boost my immune system.
How do you keep in such great shape?
Sport is very important to me. I love Look Your Best training which uses EMS technology to make working out more effective, I work out with this three times a week and now my fiancé has opened a studio in Puerto Banus I can train here as well as in Hungary and Germany.
I absolutely love to run by the sea when I am in Marbella and if I have time I sometimes do aerobics too. Combining physical exercise with healthy eating and staying hydrated is key to everything, so I am very strict with what I put in my body and how much training I do.
Tell us a little about your life and hobbies?
I work as photo and catwalk model in Europe. I travel a lot for work, mostly in Milan and Paris and hope to work in Barcelona soon. If I have a photo shoot I go to the studio, the experts do my hair and my makeup and we start the shooting. My job is very varied, so I don’t really have a routine, it all depends on the campaign.
As well as being a model I am also a fashion designer and have my own shirt collection, so if I have time I create new style to add to the range.
I love sleep and believe it’s vital for looking and feeling great, so when I am not working I sleep as long as I can, eat a big breakfast and exercise in one way or the other, whether it’s just going for a walk or something more strenuous.
In terms of hobbies, I like go to the theatre and read. My new hobby is cooking, so often I make cakes and prepare dinner for me and my fiancé.
What makes you happy?
If I'm down my loved ones can always cheer me up and vice versa. I'm usually happy and positive but I am not in the best mood it only takes a nice gesture from my fiancé to make me feel better – the little things count.
I try to give back to charity and be a good person, doing good things for others and making the world a better place makes you really happy!
