The autumn/winter trends are really exciting this year! It's edgier than last year, has more colour and at times has a seriously sexy ‘40s Hollywood feel to it! Check out, how to do your make-up for the winter!

Make up starts with the foundation. This season, aim for flawless, natural, dewy looking skin. Invest in a highlighter and apply it to cheekbones and along the nose to leave your skin looking irresistible. Dull, tired skin is not an option for autumn/winter and thankfully a well-placed highlighter can fix that problem in moments. Pink blusher can be built up for a subtle flush or a dramatic ´80´s look.

Eye liner should be thick, dark and dramatic. Don´t forget to smudge your liner! Bold colours are officially in this winter. Adding gold shimmer and wet metallic look to your eyes looks very trendy! Navy colours in your eye make-up are also one of the favourites this season.

Now, let´s move to the eyebrows. Bold eyebrows are one of the season´s favourites! Keep your brows groomed and invest in a pencil to add extra colour, even if you are blonde. If you absolutely hate big brows, the other fashionable way to do your eyebrows is bleaching. Almost invisible brows are trendy too.

When choosing a lipstick for this season, pick intensive colours! Matte reds, neon pinks and bright orange lips are precise and trendy this season. Gold creamy lipsticks and metallic glosses are hot also. Use seductive plum colours to create evening glamour!

Finally, don´t forget your hands! This season is all about short fingernails covered with super bright colours! Muddy green, dirty lavender and ash grey are this season´s newest colours for your fingernails! The autumn/winter fashion shows also loved navy, black and dark cherry plums. Bright red never goes out of fashion!
