Last night the Hotel Gran Meliá Don Pepe held a dinner with actress and Philanthropist Eva Longoria in benefit to The Eva Longora Foundation, The Cesare Scariolo Foundation, and the Malaga Club de Fútbol Foundation.

More than 300 people gathered in a night filled with stars. Many national and internationally known faces walked the red carpet including Eva Longoria, the hostess of honour; Sergio Scariolo the national basketball coach; Julio Baptista, the Malaga Football Club player; actors Amaury Nolasco and Terrence Howard; model and presenter Mar Saura; spiritual leader Deepak Chopra; Models María José Suárez and Sylvie Van der Vaart; María Pineda and the designer, Carolina Toca; Vicente del Bosque, Beatriz Trapota, José Manuel Parada, Ana Fernández, David Meca and more.

The evening was organized by Manda events, with Maria Bravo and Alina Peralta and a large team of professionals who created a visually and gastronomically spectacular evening, thanks to the selfless chefs from Marbella, Dani Garcia and Diego del Río. And thanks to the performances of Diana Navarro, Pastora Soler, Chenoa and Diego Amador, who was accompanied during his performance by American actor and singer, Terrence Howard.

The Global Gift Excellence award, was awarded to Spanish Actor, Antonio Banderas and even though he could not attend the Gala for business reasons, he recorded a video message saying thank you for the award and ensuring that he would like “ to take further action with my friend Eva Longoria, to help those in need, in the near future”.

Throughout the night, the organisation wanted to reward the efforts of some of the sponsors by handing our other awards to the Chef Dani Garcia, to the director of the Hotel Gran Meliá Don Pepe, Azzam Saas and to Victor Sanchez from Cyan Process, amongst others.

The guests also had the chance to participate in different auctions led by David Meca and there were brilliant things on offer: a painting by Antonio Montiel, a weekend at a spa, a range of beauty products from Lorena Morlote, a trip abroad with the Malaga Football Club, a deluxe jewellery package by Gómez & Molina, a five day retreat with Deepak Chopra, a shopping trip in London with Eva Longoria including tickets for the Nobel Gift Gala in London and two works of art by Pedro Peña, amongst other things.

Other companies also collaborated so that all the money collected, both at the dinner and the auction and raffle will be given to children and families of the three foundations.
