Aqwa Mist's Promotor Phil Savage Got Married!15-11-2013
Aqwa Mist’s promotor Phil Savage got married to his girlfriend Sara Silva, who also works in the same nightclub, but as a dancer. They have been together over 6 years and this year they decided to make it official and get married! i-Marbella brings you the details behind the proposal and the wedding of the beautiful young people, who met in Marbella!
1. When and where did you get married? Who chose the location?
We got married in the Algarve, Portugal in the amazing Sheraton Hotel in the Pine Cliffs Resort. We both decided to get married in the Algarve and the sheraton stood out because of its wonderful venues and scenery.
2. How did you propose to Sara?
After choosing the ring and having it made back in the UK through a friends jewellers (Joe Glynn 677 644 737) I took Sara to a beautiful resort in Mauritius. I arranged a candle lit diner on a secluded beach. Built a bomb-fire next to where our table was to be located, laid Rose petals all over, had red carpet running down to the table, carved "for Sara" into the sand and had a PA system playing all our special songs during the diner. Then when we had finished the dessert I had the ring sent over on a silver platter under a silver serving lid and place on a bed of rose petals and that's when I popped the question. It was a beautiful moment!
3. How did you two meet and how long have you been together?
We met in Marbella the first night I arrived in 2006 and I didn't see Sara until one night in the summer of 2007. We got speaking and I could tell there was something special about her. Sara had planned to leave and left for a month. Once she returned in July that was when we became a couple.
4. What do you love most about Sara?
She is an amazing person and completely genuine and very affectionate with me which I love! It also helps that she is smoking hot! She has a temper thou hahaha.
5. What does marriage mean to you?
For me it's the highest commitment to each other. It shows I intend to always be there for Sara and her for me.
6. How nervous were you before the big day?
I was calm right through until on of my friends said "your gonna cry" haha and then I got nervous. Not because of the wedding or the commitment I was about to make but crying in front of all my friends and family and it going viral me crying like a baby haha. Fortunately I just managed to keep it together and fight back the tears. On the day of the wedding I was enjoying the sun at the beach with friends right up until I had to start getting ready. So very relaxed and calm.
7. When are you planning to have kids?
Yes, we would like to start a family but we want to see more of the world before we do so the plan is a couple of years yet but who knows.
8. Do you plan to live and grow your kids in Marbella til death do you part? Or youre planning on moving some place else?
We have no immediate plans to move from Marbella but possibly in the distant future a move may happen. Right now we are happy in Marbella, our work and closest friends are here.
