The Danish born designer Christian-Rex hand made jewelry is used by famous actors and celebrity people all over the world. Christian-Rex Design is unique and often copied by other. The designer resides in the sunny Marbella and i-Marbella had the chance to interview him to find out more about his work.

1. Where were you educated?
I never took any classes nor was I ever thought by anyone the process of becoming a designer. I can truthfully tell you that everything i have ever done has been created from my natural love for design.


2. How did you start designing jewelry?
Well i began as a clothing designer, mainly for women. High fashion dresses, custom made & one of a kind. Later, i wanted something to compliment my clothing designs and thought what better than a jewelry range, and that is where it all started!


3. What does it take to make it to the top as a designer?
Personally for me, i feel you must have a uniqueness about yourself which you then express through your designs. That is the only thing that can separate you from the rest, grab peoples attention and show your individuality, which is exactly what makes fashion fashionable.

4. Do you design anything else besides bracelets?
For the moment I am focusing all my energy on my new jewelry line, Christian-Rex. Although i do do some freelance designing for some other big companies occasionally... If the price is right!


5. What inspires you?
Everything! Everyday I see something that will inspire me in some way or another and have a major influence on one of my designs, from the most simplest thing you could imagine. The world is a palette of beautiful colours with endless possibilities, the only tools that the imagination of a designer needs to create a masterpiece!


6. Which celebrities wear your designs?
The list is becoming endless! Its amazing! Off the top of my head, celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Dolph Lundgren, Amaury Nolasco, Kelis, Ed Hardy, Carmen Electra and various other footballers, models etc. etc. The response has been incredible!


7. How have you managed to get A class celebrities to wear your designs?
I've simply met most of these celebrities and showed them my jewelry line and they have loved it.

9. What are your dreams and goals as a designers?
My ultimate dream for Christian-Rex would be for it not to be only an international fashion accesory but a fashion necessity. That people cant go out without Christian-Rex! Fortunately this dream is already coming true as we have now already started retailing in several other countries, for which I couldnt be happier.


10. What are your plans for the summer?
My plans for Summer 2013 is to have fun, live life and show the world that that is exactly what the name Christian-Rex represents!
