Alejandro Fajardo
Spanish/Venezuelan origin fashion designer Alejandro Fajardo (42) has achieved his dream of making clothes for women. Currently he lives part time in Venezuela, Panama, Puerto Rico and USA. i-Marbella was granted an exclusive interview with the talented Alejandro.
1. Did you always know you wanted to be a designer?
Yes I have always known I wanted to become a fashion creator, since I was a kid.
2. Where were you educated?
I was educated in Madrid at the Fashion One Institute.
3. How would you describe your designs? Who are they meant for?
Well, my designs are for women who like to feel like a princess. The dresses are unique and one of a kind and they are never the same, specially dresses with mirror pieces or stones. But all of my designs are 100% minimalistic.
4. What do you consider to be your biggest accomplishment so far?
I am very happy at the moment with my business and I have achieved my dream. I have made and I am still creating dresses to different misses, movie stars and vips.

5. What kind of ambitions do you have?
I am a very ambitious person and soon I would like to show my designs in Europe. Because I have done this in North America, South America, Caribbean and even in Asia.
6. Can you name some celebrities who wear your clothes?
Jennifer Lopez, Ivonne Reyes, Miss Universe Estefenia Fernandez, Hollywood star Mirian Haws, Miss Fiji, Miss USA, Miss Venezuela and many more.

7. What advice would you give to a young promising designer?
I would definitely put in lot of effort and what is also needed is originality. But the most important thing is to believe!
8. What do you like about Marbella the most?
I have been in Marbella and although there is a big crisis around the world, Marbella is still a fantastic place to go! I love Marbella. I hope I can make dresses for the beautiful women there.
Alejandro's website is currently under construction. He owns stores in Valencia Puerto Rico, in Panama, in Miami, Caracas.
