Women's Race 2011 in Malaga

The first ever Women's Race took place on March 6 in Malaga. The race was organised to fight breast cancer and collect money in order to do so! "Run and get back at breast cancer!"
The race is the biggest women's sport event in Europe and is open for women of all ages: mothers, daughters, grandmothers, sisters, cousins, colleagues, students etc. So this is a great sports day taking place in eight cities!
- The race is 5 or 6km long
- There will also be Aerobic festival
- Surprise concert
- Batukada, prize and raffles
- Honourary president: Asturias's Princess Dna Letizia Ortiz
More than 310 000 euros have been donated for help to fight against breast cancer since 2004.
48 000 women ran in 2009 and last year over 50 000 did the same. The predictions for this year are even higher!
