The traditional midsummer party in Spain is the celebration in honour of San Juan (St. John the Baptist) and takes place on the evening of June 23. Bonfires are lit and a set of firework displays usually takes place.
Besaya Beach Club in Marbella hosted an incredible San Juan party this weekend.
The party was set to start before midnight on Saturday the 23rd and the atmosphere was fantastic, a big bonfire was set up to lit the place and invite the guest to dance on the beach under the moonlight! A great way to begin the Midsummer celebration.

This party commemorates the Feast of Saint John, this celebration closely coincides with the June solstice, also referred to as Midsummer in the Northern Hemisphere.
