Around 3,600 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. That is ten every day.
The types of cancer affecting children are quite different from the cancers that affect teenagers and young adults (TYA); TYA cancers are different again from the types of cancer that typically affect adults aged 25+.
Thanks to investment in research and treatment, survival has increased dramatically over the past 50 years, and more than three quarters of young cancer patients can be successfully treated.
Sandro Morelli has once again hosted his hugely successful fundraising party in Marbella, Spain. Villa Tiberio is a magnificent restaurant and the perfect party venue. This is the eighth year that Sandro has hosted this wonderful event at his stunning restaurant, Villa Tiberio in Marbella.
Guests arrived to a champagne reception in the beautiful gardens of villa Tiberio. 25 EUR from each ticket is donated to the charity.
A delicious dinner was served, and the guests were entertained by a wealth of artists who all performed for free.

The evening was hosted by Scottish comedienne Ms Janey Godley and auctioneer and games master was Mr Steve Cline from the Coast.
We hope to have raised 30,000 EUR.
The event was great fun -- dancing until very late under the stars -- al fresco dining at its best!
