This Friday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the Paseo de la Alameda is the official inauguration of the X Festival Marbella Todo Danza 2017.
The cultural municipal delegation in Marbella has once again organized the Festival ‘Marbella Todo Danza’ (All dance Marbella), which this year celebrates its tenth edition and will be held between this Friday, April 27, and Saturday, 12 May, in different parts of the city, offering a wide range of performances and activities for all audiences.

This has been cataloged by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, this Friday along with the general director of Culture in Marbella, Carmen Díaz, during the presentation of this "transcendental event of great magnitude that has managed to maintain itself in time and make a space in the national circuit with high quality proposals ", according to Muñoz.

From April 27 to May 12 people will be able to enjoy the shows of Olga Pericet, Kukai Dance, Daniel Doña, Cía Sharon Fridman, Larumbe Dance, Israel Galván ...
The lineup of the festival has a very central schedule which takes place at the Ciudad de Marbella Theater with the most representative performances, usually at 9:00 p.m. The dance sections will start on Saturday, April 28 with Olga Pericet, a referent of flamenco dancing and winner of the Max Award for Best Ballerina in 2015, and her show 'La espina que quiso ser flor, or the flower that dreamed of being a dancer ' It will continue on May 3 with 'Oskara' by Kukai Danza, National Dance Award in 2017 and Max Award for the Best Dance Show and Best Dance Cast 2017. On May 5 the protagonist will be the company Sharon Fridman with 'All Ways' and the closing will correspond to the prestigious director, choreographer and dancer Israel Galván on May 12 with 'Fla.co.men'.

As mentioned above the Festival will officially start this coming Friday with the cycle event ‘Corazón en Danza’ (Heartful Dance), which will offer the staging of ‘Movimientos en paralelo’ (Movements In Parallel) from the Marbella Dance School in Paseo de la Alameda, at 19.30.
In addition to the dance performances, the dancer Olga Pericet (known for her amazing flamenco skills) and the dancer Daniel Doña will offer master classes on April 29 and May 5, respectively, upon registration. And the cycle ‘Mi Primera Danza’ (My First Dance), framed in the Festival is planned to approach the youngest dancers with an initiation workshop to the movement that they will be able to enjoy, previous registration, on April 29 and May 6.

This Saturday, April 28, people will have the opportunity to enjoy the X Festival Marbella Todo Danza 2018 by one of the greats of flamenco, Olga Pericet. Her performance ''La espina que quiso ser flor, o la flor que soño ser bailora'' (The thorn that wanted to be a flower, or the flower that dreamed of being a bailora) which has won numerous prizes in these years and has already taken her dance to the best stages in the world.

The official event is finalized with the cycle 'En formacion' (In formation) this edition will feature the show 'Impulses' by Caterina Chisesi, at the Teatro Ciudad de Marbella on April 29 at 8:00 pm, and 'Step by step', at the Ciudad de Marbella Theater at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 9, by the Municipal Music and Dance Center. Finally, Olga Pericet will offer a master class on April 29, from 10.00 to 11.30 and from 12.00 to 13.30, and Daniel Doña will do it on May 5 at the same time, both at the Municipal Music and Dance Center.
