Naô Pool Marbella Beach Club Bust On Fire Before Its Opening @Marbella News May 202023-05-2020
May 20, 2020 Marbella's local police department is investigating as intentional the causes of the fire that caused material damage to part of the premises. Arno Valère current owner of the night club wanted to celebrate a big party on the occasion of Malaga's passage to phase 1 of the de-escalation.
The Naô Pool Club, located in the Nueva Andalucía area in Marbella, owned by the son of the Marbella businesswoman Olivia Valère. Arno Valère and partners busted on fire that caused material damage. It is one of the most luxurious beach clubs in Marbella and was scheduled to reopen this Tuesday at 12:00 noon.
All indications are that the fire at the luxury Naô Pool beach club in Marbella on Tuesday morning was intentional. Sources close to the investigation point out that this is the hypothesis being considered and that it caused the destruction of part of the exterior area of this cub run by the Arno Valère.
The fire originated around 2 a.m. outside the club, which was scheduled to reopen the next day, making investigators suspect that it was an attempt at sabotage to prevent the start-up of the business.
Despite the attempt, the club, located in Nueva Andalucía, opened its doors and even managed to complete the planned reservations, always maintaining the new regulations regarding security distances and protective measures.
The flames destroyed some of the outdoor furniture, mostly wood, as well as trees, but did not affect the main club building. The workers were cleaning up until the opening at 2 p.m.
Club Naô Pool has a restaurant, music and an impressive swimming pool to enjoy the good weather of the Costa del Sol with all the luxuries at a glance. It also has an oriental style lounge, with Arabic decoration named Karen Valère, and a Sushi restaurant called Mikado. All of them focused on a high standing clientele.
Olivia Valère herself, who has been living in Marbella for thirty years, has become a reference point in the city with numerous businesses. About 250 bookings Olivia Valère has decided to open the doors of Club Naô Pool May 19 by offering its restaurant service and sunbathing areas. The swimming pool and the Jacuzzi will not be available for use due to coronavirus restrictions.
The property has established distance measures, as well as the use of masks and disinfectant gels. About 250 people had reserved today with the capacity limits established by the COVID-19.
Other fires alarms
This fire is reminiscent of the cases of several beach bars in the province which, at the end of last year and the beginning of 2020, also burned down. Among the closest in distance, that of the Playa Padre beach bar, one of the most exclusive in Marbella owned by the actress and businesswoman María Bravo. This establishment, located on the beach of El Cable in Marbella, was completely burnt down in February 2019.
