Marbella nightlife you haven't thought of trying before.
Marbella’s entertaining nightlife is no secret. Thousands of tourists descend on the popular Spanish town every summer to enjoy its comprehensive array of clubs, bars, music venues and restaurants. However, having a unique night out in Marbella can be difficult due to its popularity and broad appeal. But you’re no longer in danger of being sucked into the conventional tourist traps, as we’re here to help you enjoy some late-night entertainment you may not have thought of trying.
Tourists enjoy Marbella nightlife for many different reasons. The city’s glittering array of venues sets it apart from other Spanish cities. For example, visitors can enjoy several quality casinos, including Casino Marbella and Marbella Nueva Andalucía. Alternatively, gambling enthusiasts can enjoy online casino gaming from the beautiful beaches. But casinos are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to discussing nightlife in Marbella.

It’s easy to have fun in the city when the sun goes down, but slightly harder to do so in a unique way. But don’t worry, as our team of experts is here to help. Keep reading for an interesting array of Marbella nightlife activities you may not have considered.
Nightclubs in Marbella aren’t exactly new, although tourists rarely stray from the most popular destinations. While these can be fun, maybe it’s time to enjoy some of the city’s music-oriented clubbing hotspots. World-renowned DJs regularly perform at venues such as Nikki Beach or Momento, providing a unique, music-driven nightlife adventure.
Black Coffee is one of the many international DJs who has passed through the doors of these clubs in the last year, generating far more entertainment than your average commercial club DJ. Keep an eye on the listings at the music-led clubs for the best chance to enjoy a truly unforgettable experience.
Experience Marbella’s incredible architecture at night
You can easily make the mistake of visiting only one of the many incredible venues in Marbella, but don’t forget to take some time to soak up the city’s incredible architecture. Walking around at night time can be one of the best times to do so, especially at popular tourist attractions such as Paseo de la Alameda or Plaza de los Naranjos. Free yourself from the crowds and enjoy a more relaxing experience.
Marbella also has tons of impressive modern architecture. For example, the Puerto Banús Marina, designed by Noldi Schreck – part of the Beverly Hills architecture team – comes alive at night, with a sparkling waterfront lit up by yachts and stylish street lights. The city is beautiful in the daytime, but don’t let this distract you from its unique night-time aesthetic.
Dancing – but on the beach
Like dancing in nightclubs but wish it could be outside? The Marbella beach clubs are a perfect alternative. There is nothing like enjoying your favourite music with the sand beneath your feet, especially when it is provided by the creme-de-la-creme of the electronic music world.
Many visitors to this entertaining Andalusian city don’t have beach clubs in their home countries, so this is a truly unique way to enjoy yourself. Our favourites are El Chiringuito Beach Club and La Suite Night Club, but many choices exist.
World-renowned restaurants and some local secrets
Spanish dinner times are typically far later than elsewhere, so dining out can easily be considered a nightlife activity. Fortunately, visitors to Marbella have countless options to choose from. Instead of going to the popular Marbella strip restaurants, why not try some world-renowned places you may not hear about in general tourist advice?
There are six Michelin-star eateries to enjoy within 50km of the city, providing ample opportunities to eat out in style and turn dinner into the main nightlife event. Restaurante Skina is arguably the pick of the bunch, with a remarkable two Michelin stars to its name. Messina Restaurante and Restaurante El Lago Marbella are two more unmissable highlights elsewhere.

Marbella is well known for its top-tier golf facilities, but not many people will know about enjoying twilight golf at one of the many courses. Playing as the sun sets can be one of the best times, especially during Andalusia’s notoriously hot summers.
Popular choices include Santa Clara Golf Marbella, known for its challenging fairways, marvellous clubhouse restaurant, and bar complex. Make a booking for one of the latest tee times, and go around the 18-hole course in those beautiful twilight hours. Playing golf is far more satisfying than drinking in bars all night, and far healthier too!
