Malaga Airport T3 official opening date has been set

King Juan Carlos has been invited to open the new terminal in Malaga Airport.
Monday March 15th has been selected as the official opening date for the long awaited new terminal 3 in Malaga Airport.
King Juan Carlos has been invited to open the Airport and the opening ceremony will see a host of delegates, diplomats, politicians invited to the event which is forecast to have over 500 people in attendance.
Diario Sur have reported that the new terminal will be able to cater to over 9.000 travellers every hour and a new automated system will have the capacity to handle 7.500 suitcases an hour. The second runway will not be in operation until next year however.
