Beach Clean-up day at Puente Romano @ Marbella, September 20, 2019

In a display of love for our planet on September 20, 2019, a Plastic cleaning day, followed by a Global Climate March on 27th of September, were organized by Kenza E. Carlson from Puente Romano Group, Rotary Club member Saeko Hamada, and OCEANIC on the shores of the beaches around Puente Romano Beach Resort and Spa of Marbella, Spain.

The first event began at noon and dozens of people attended to help clean the beaches for about 2 hours to close with the last lunch of the season at El Chiringuito at 2 pm.

In this way, after an arduous effort on behalf of our planet, the attendees were awarded a special menu from the aforementioned venue, snacks by the hand of @Celicioso, and the best entertainment by DJ Camilo Franco of @Bohoexperienceofficial.

Dozens of people attended to help clean the beaches for about 2 hours to close with the last lunch of the season at El Chiringuito at 2 pm.

Global Climate March on September 27, 2019 at Marbella

Global Climate March and Lunch at Sea Grill!

In over 150 countries, people are stepping up to demand a change and to create awareness for the global issue we are facing with climate change.

The climate crisis won't wait, so Marbella didn't either! The march started from Sea Grill restaurant at noon for a 6 km route to Puerto Banus and back.

Yet the planet wasn't the only one to win something! @Celicioso provided refreshments and cakes at the return point in Puerto Banus.

Besides, Sea Grill restaurant hosted a lunch at 2 pm with a large salad and dessert buffet as well as Live Music for only 38€/person.

This way, many people got reunited to help in a noble cause, raising banners and caps provided by Puente Romano to announce the need for a change on behalf of our planet earth.
