The grand ceremony is planned to bring together renowned international and national personalities such as Luis Fonsi, Gary Dourdan, Maria Bravo and others with a common goal of raising funds in favor of social projects for children and women in southern Spain. The Gran Meliá Don Pepe Hotel will host The Global Gift Gala Marbella for the 7th consecutive year, on Sunday, July 29, 2018.

The Global Gift Foundation returns to the city that saw it born in an event in which philanthropy and solidarity will be the protagonists to recognize the solidarity and philanthropic work of the singer Luis Fonsi who will receive the "Global Gift Philanthropist Award".

For María Bravo, founder of the Global Gift Foundation, ‘’The work and commitment of Luis Fonsi with the well-being of women and children is incomparable. For years Luis has taken advantage of his position to do his bit and help social causes unconditionally. His project to supply emergency needs such as food and water to those affected by "Hurricane Maria" was a key to the recovery of that area of Puerto Rico.

Luis Fonsi has helped and supported children suffering from cancer and their families through the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, as well as many other solidarity actions, so for me, it is an honor and a real privilege to be able to reward the humanitarian work of a great human being”.

Luis Fonsi said: From a very young age, my parents taught me the importance of helping others. Having this career has allowed me to support many organizations that are doing everything possible to help so many people who need it. Such is the case of St. Jude Children's Hospital and of course all the efforts made to help my island of Puerto Rico after the devastating passage of Hurricane Maria''.

 An exclusive Gala filled up with famous International Performances

The performances that will delight the guests of the Gala, will be those of the singer and actor Gary Dourdan, protagonist of the CSI series, who will sing live songs of his own, as well as the singer Descemer Bueno who has composed with Enrique Iglesias the great ones successes of "Bailando" and "Subeme la Radio". The British singer-songwriter James Arthur who has excelled internationally for his successes "Say you won't let go" and ''Impossible" will come especially in support of the foundation of Maria Bravo, and the Spanish singer Niña Pastori will leave the guests breathless with her very expected special participation. The model and actress Lorena Bernal and the presenter of Egyptian origin Enjy Kiwan will be in charge of presenting the gala full of surprises.

The dinner menu will be created by executive chef Víctor Carracedo and Michelin star chefs such as Paolo Casagrande, Mauricio Giovanni, and Iván Domínguez.
