Inside World Vision Gala 201623-08-2016
World Vision Gala 2016 was held at Puente Romano Beach Resort and Spa's Sea Grill on August 11.
World Vision is not just a charity; it is a special charity that was specifically chosen by Daniel Shamoon himself. The fourth edition of World Vision Marbella was a tremendous success and one of the leading charity events in 2016.
The goal of The World Vision Gala 2016 was to raise funds needed to ensure the vital charity work in Myanmar, rated as one of the poorest countries in the world. The event helped raise the astonishing 50,000 Euro to tackle malaria and provide thousands of families and children in Myanmar (Burma) with a safer, healthier future. It is the world's largest international children's charity, working to bring real hope to millions of children in the world's hardest places.
Live performers of the night of the World Vision Gala included Alexander O'Neal (triple platinum international recording artist) with his exotic showgirls and Peet Rothwell, who made his famous tribute to Michael Bublé, choosing to Cry Me A River as the first song to take the audience's breath away.
The unmatched Tara Lorimer has been the host of the event from the very beginning.
Puente Romano's Chef Thomas Stork surprised everyone with a special three-course dinner. Even our friend who is a strict vegan got everything she wished for!
Cocktails and canapes from Dani Garcia himself were served at Sea Grill Restaurant.
The night ended with a brilliant performance by Club Live Band and massive fireworks at midnight.
