Help Specsavers to Help Charity This Christmas

Throughout December, Specsavers Opticas in Marbella and Fuengirola are taking part in a Christmas charity appeals to collect food and glasses for those in need in the local area.
Business Development Manager, José Ángel Moral-Tajadura, tells us that "Supporting charitable causes this Christmas is important to us with many families on the Costa del Sol feeling the effects of the recession. Our stores are passionate about their chosen charities and are all doing their bit to encourage donations."
Donations of non-perishable food would be greatly appreciated at Specsavers Opticas in Fuengirola where they are collecting on behalf of the Costa del Sol’s Food Bank Bancosol. Bancosol collects food and distributes it to those in need via well know charities and their Christmas campaign aims that no one is hungry this Christmas.
Specsavers in Marbella is taking part in The Lions Club International's glasses collection drive to collect glasses for people in Marbella who need access to glasses to make a living and succeed at school, but do not have the financial means to buy them. Old glasses can be dropped off in store throughout December and are then prepared for individuals in Marbella who desperately need them.
