What is the best way to start a self-introductory blog post? I guess by introducing myself, this would indeed be the obvious way to go. So…. my name is Karina Miller and I am the author of the books ‘SINGLE IN MARBS’ and ‘MARBELLA GIRLS.’ Both are available right now on Amazon and will shortly be available in BOOKWORLD Puerto Banus, Marbella.

I am hoping that you are already familiar with my books or perhaps you follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram On the other hand if you don’t know me and have never heard of me then I am very happy to get acquainted with you all and hopefully, I can captivate and entertain you with my new blog.

I will be sharing my crazy life with you, my travels and of course talking about my books.

I have to say that this all started with my dear mother, who was a very talented writer. She is sadly no longer by my side, but I guess that is why I have this urge to write.  

When I finished my first book I was desperate for her approval.  I thought it might be a little too shocking and perhaps a bit naughty for her. But I was pleasantly surprised at her reaction as she laughed her way through it. “Brilliant, my dear wee Karina,” She said with a huge smile. God bless her.

I’m not sure anything I could do or say would have shocked her really. As I have been telling her my stories all my life.

She always said I have three books to write about my crazy life and maybe I will actually start on that at some point.

I consider ''SIngapore as my second home after Marbella''. June 2018

I have lived in Marbella for six fun packed years and a few of them have been in a single land. I guess these stories and stories from my past have inspired me to put pen to paper and write a fictional story about what goes on in Marbella. Which as you probably know is a lot! Hahaha

So far, I’m happy to say that this year has been brilliant. It started with a bang as I spent the first two months of 2018 in Singapore and Bali. Singapore is like a second home to me now as I have spent so much time there the last few years.

What a fabulous place it is, vibrant and happening and moreover it is super clean. When you step into the airport at Singapore, there is no doubt where you have landed. You can literally eat from the floor. It’s no wonder why it has been named the best airport in the world six times.

What a truly jaw-dropping place Singapore is, it will literally take your breath away.

Last year I was lucky enough to be there at the Grand Prix for the second time. The night race is the only one in the world and just spectacular. The buzz is phenomenal and makes me giddy with excitement. The infamous Amber Lounge Grand Prix after party is full of men from all over the world. So as you can imagine being single, it is like being in the best candy shop in the world. Champagne flowing in abundance and hookers galore. Yes, prostitution is legal in Singapore. You can’t eat chewing gum or be naked in your own house but prostitution is legal. Hmmm makes you wonder who made those rules up. Hahaha, definitely not a woman.

I have acquired some great stories from there, which have definitely given me great inspiration to write the third and final book in this Marbella series. Singapore after Marbella has truly become my second home.

My trip to Bali in January was magical, a fantastic place and completely contrasting experience, as I’m sure any of you who have been will know. Spending a few days there chilling was just sublime.

So yes I am still single and dating. It has been two years now and still prince charming has not turned up yet, I seriously have no idea where he is. He probably can’t catch me as I never seem to be in one place for too long these days.

My goal here is to keep you all entertained with the funny and exciting things that happen to me. This blog will be like a reading reality show without the T.V. Lol
