Phuket's amazing Fish market Source: Annika Urm
Phuket Fish Market is located just before Rawai beach in the fishing port of Phuket.
At the Market you may choose seafood of your preference. Anything you can imagine is right there, from lobster of every kind, shrimps in every size and colour, scallops, any type and colour fish.
Prices for Lobster 600-1500 BTH/kg 16-40 euro,
Shrimps 400-950 BTH/kg 11-26 eur
Scallops 180-200 BTH/kg 5-6 eur
Cooked food
All kinds of seafood you can cook in the restaurants up front, there is row of them. Cookingper person costs 100 BTH, 2,65 eur.
You can order from the menu every kind of cooking, steaming, with peper, with chilli, sweet etc. Ofcourse you can order rice and vegetables and whatever is that you prefer.
Seafood Market
We had Scallops cooked with garlic and cheese, steam shrimps and pepper and garlic shrimps, steam fish, Lobster with garlic and butter.
I love tomatoes, so I both extra tomatoes for my dinner. We went there often.
This is a unique experience with affordable prices and such a high quality. This dining experience I recommend everybody to try.
