Most incredible New Year Celebration at Mandarin Oriental Singapore
Annika Urm is a business woman who has her own media channel: i-marbella.com. She travels all over the world and brings you the latest and hottest news and happenings. This time during December 2016 and January 2017, Annika was in Thailand and celebrated New Year in Singapore.
Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is a five-star luxury hotel in Marina Bay. Only minutes from the central business district and with a choice of fabulous restaurants and fantastic rooms, we were at the ultimate urban retreat.
The hotel is overlooking the many attractions of Marina Bay, we enjoyed the luxurious surroundings of Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. We indulged the fantastic facilities and an enviable reputation, we had the perfect base from which to discover Singapore, at its best.
Our Suite was overview Marina bay and the front of Marina bay Sand where we moved 01.01.2017, but I will tell you more about this in a new blog.
Mandarin Oriental was pure luxury especially with Luxury package.
We decided it was going to be just the two of us, to go site seeing the city Singapore with the Flyer followed with just a little shopping and lot relaxing.
Singapore Flyer is Asia’s Largest Giant Observation Wheel. Standing at a stunning 165m from the ground, the Flyer offers you breathtaking, panoramic views of the Marina Bay and beyond. There’s also a range of shops, restaurants and facilities.
You may book a romantic dinner for two at the Singapore Flyer, that overlooks the Marina Sand Bay, Gardens, city skyscrapers which combined give the most spectacular overview of this amazing city at the night.
I decided it was the perfect way to say goodbye to 2016, starting with a bubble bath that overviewed the Marina Bay and with Champagne.
In front of our window Alicia K held a concert just before midnight and as soon as she finished, the New Year firework started. It was 7 minutes from the sea and absolutely fantastic, see the video following the article.
We made some rounds in Hotel and by the pool, where a lot of people were in Dolce Vita restaurant.
In the morning we had perfect breakfast with champagne on 24th-floor executive lunch and we spent all day by the pool. Luxury package included also late checkout.
Our luxury package included also 3 times daily snacks, the breakfast, cocktails at 18.00 and a light tapas based supper.
