Marbella Foreign Residents Department's Presentation on November 12, 2015 in collaboration with Blacktower Financial Management (International) Limited will give an informative presentation in English on November 12, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Palacio de Congresos, Marbella.
Location: Palacio de Congresos
The presentation will cover the following subjects:
- The new agreements that are in place between many countries and since January 2015 with regards to the exchange of financial information. We will review the impact this has on you as a Spanish resident. We will also cover what residency really means, when you are considered a resident by the Spanish authorities and the importance of listing yourself on the "padrón" of Marbella;
- The obligation that residents have using the form Modelo 720 to report overseas assets which is now in its fourth year. We will tell you what you have to do in case you have not yet submitted this form in the past and what the possible consequences are of not doing so going forward;
- The important changes in Spanish taxes (and it is not all that bad): Income Tax, Savings Tax, Inheritance Tax, and the implication for residents and non-residents.
- The new Spanish law with regards to wills which applies since the 17th of August and the importance of making sure that your estate ends up in the hands of the beneficiaries of your choice.
We will cater for drinks and tapas.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation.
The talk will be given by Tim Govaerts, Regional Manager for Blacktower Costa del Sol, and Richard Mills, International Financial Adviser.
The talk is free of charge, but due to limited seating, please book in advance by emailing at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling on +34 952 816 443.
