Grand Palace Hotel (Leading Hotels of the World, Latvia's Leading Hotel 2010) is opening its very own Suite and to help you to come party Suite style in Riga this Thursday, 9th of December.

The Lounge is located in the former Seasons Restaurant and has become an extension of the Pils Bar, a favourite meeting place for Riga's business people, diplomats and politicians. While the Pils Bar will continue to offer all day dining, the Lounge will be opened after 17:00 or as business dictates. The interior is luxurious with leather sofas and exciting pieces of furniture as well as display cases for exclusive cognacs and whiskies. Unlike in the Pils Bar, there will be no food served here, but smoking will be allowed. The Pils Bar and Lounge will also be available for events.

The Suite, which opens at 7pm, brings you a fusion of modern European dishes in a spectacular Art Deco setting. At 11pm Suite turns from an intimate dining experience to the most exclusive club in the Baltic's offering it's guests a seductive selection of music until 3am, Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 4am.

Zoe Marmentini;

Zoe is an established artist, DJ and design guru.....a modern day chic girl who is involved in the setting up of Suite Riga from many angles including the design of the bar to ithe interior design to logos and creative material, involved in organisation through to execution.  Then on the night she will ‘wow’ you with her music choices and irresistible charm. Deeply involved in music for almost 15 years, she has played at Marbella’s trendiest clubs and Madrid’s greatest parties. Her taste for music starts at jazz, goes through many styles of fusion lounge and peaks at the uplifting house tunes of the moment.

Burbo (DJ Bubble);

Dj and event producer.

From his start in´92 and standing out for his fine taste in music, touching all electronic doors and wowing dance floors made him a first choice and in demand performer at the best and biggest festival parties along the coast.(Fimes, Esparrago rock, Creamfields, rocket festival and live dance festival) he has shared line ups and the decks with artists with highest calibre (Ritchie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Frankie Knuckles, the Advent, the Prodigy, John Aquaviva, etc)… a one yea residency at  the famous Café del Mar, another year with the Deep parties at the prestigious don Carlos hotel, and three  years running resident at the MC Beach and Suite del Mar. Dj Bubble a keen lover of all electronic music but rooting his trademark sessions in elegant and exquisite chill out and floor friendly dance music.

2002 found Bubble in the mountains of Sierra Nevada as resident dj at the Chicle nightclub. In 2005 Bubble moved his music to Natal in  Brazil and worked every day spinning his tunes at some of the bests clubs and organising his own music at the Pipa village resort which quickly became the party of the week and the biggest parties of the Brazilian summer. Currently he can be found spinning the decks at Suite del Mar and the exclusive MC beach.

Rebecca Lander

Rebecca Lander’s magnetic stage presence and versatile vocal ability have led her to work with many musicians, DJs and producers. She is equally at home featuring on a house/techno track for David Penn or Roman Lieske, or as a backing singer for acoustic artist Aaron Thomas, where her vocals have been described as “subtle yet indispensable”.

Rebecca has played at prestigious venues, clubs and festivals, such as Space of Sound, FIB , CMJ festival in New York and Popkomm in Berlin. She has also lent her voice and image to various corporate events, more recently the Audi Met Cup 2010 and Adolfo Dominguez “The Music Collection” in conjunction with “los Cuarenta Principales” (the Spanish Top 40). Her voice has appeared on various advertising campaigns including Playstation 3, Nescafe, Mercedes, Coca Cola and the Barcelona Metro Campaign (TMB). Also immersing herself in production and writing, her dancefloor based electro-pop band, which go by the name The Knot, are currently finishing their self-entitled debut album, which she has co-written with producer Saul Quiñones.

Here is a woman who knows how to use her voice; who despite crossing multiple genres has found her own style; who knows how to create a spectacle; how to take a step back as a backing singer; how to not take things too seriously when she loses the microphone on stage; how to wear the glitzy get ups whilst never losing sight of the raw undisputable emotion that’s needed for a performer to truly connect with their audience.

Stefano Cestra 

Drummer, percussionist, music writer, producer. Degree at the Music Academy of Florence, Diploma degree at Drumtech (Drum&Percussion School of London). Starting as a drummer in two well known bands in Florence, Italy, Stefano moved to London in 1998 to pursue his degree in percussions. After his graduation Stefano joined the rock band Revcounter where he played drums and co-wrote music for about two years. Shortly after, Stefano was invited by the Greek icon Anna Vissi to tour in Greece.

Back in London he started performing as percussionist in clubs where he had the opportunity to meet several worldwide notorious artists and to play for most of them in their private events, including: Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Cyndy Blackman, Chris Cornell, Bon Jovi, Tommy Lee, Matt Sorum, Brian Adams, Pink, Justin Timberlake, Danny Minogue, Faithless, Erick Morillo and many others. Stefano, then, performed with jazz star Kyle Eastwood (thanks to the encounter with producer Michael Stevens), with drums masters Ralph Salmins and Mark Mondesir, with Dave O'Higgins, Graeme Flowers etc.

At the moment Stefano is still working on a regular basis as percussionist in private functions like the prestigious Chinawhite "Rock The Polo Cartier" in Windsor or (one of the latest ) for F1 racer Jenson Button and in the most popular London nightclubs (as resident artist performing next to very well known DJs like Roger Taylor (Duran Duran), Stan-ley, Sam Young, Nabil, etc...), and abroad: USA, Monaco, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Greece, Ireland etc. At the same time he is working on the production of his album. Stefano Cestra is recognised as a complete and reliable artist thanks to his versatility to be able to play many diffent styles of music from rock to jazz, dance to r&b, hip hop.
