Spain Reopens All Her Airports
19-04-2010 Comments (1)
17 airports had been closed for a time because of the cloud of volcanic dust originating in Iceland.
AENA, the Spanish Airports Authority has now announced the re-opening of all its airports. 17 airports including Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca were closed for a time on Saturday and Sunday because of the volcanic dust from Iceland.
Despite the reopening of the airports in Spain much of Northern Europe and the U.K. remains with restrictions in place. The UK airspace is closed until at least 1am on Monday, and AENA is advising all passengers to contact their airline before setting out for the airport.
