Marbella to pay €0.5M annually to finance new park!
05-02-2012Accounts on the Forest Park "Los Tres Jardines" (The Three Gardens) are fairly clear. While the budget on the annual cost incurred for maintaining the eco-park is yet to be signed, Marbella Town Hall has agreed to take over half of the costs for conservation, which has been estimated at half a million per year spending for facilities not damaged. The other half will have to be financed by the Ministry of Environment.
Antonio Espada, the company responsible for putting numbers to work, has specified that the park will count with 9.5 hectares in addition to several concepts, including eight operators of gardening, water, light, treatments or collection of paper, amounting to 489,000 euros. Not to mention security would have to monitor facilities 24 hours.
"It is rectified based on this budget and we insist that we must go to 50 percent because we have no budget to assume that payment", said the mayor in this regard.
