Saeko Hamada's Column Vol. 10: Stephen Webster's Gala

Stephen Webster's Gala was surely one of the best Galas in Marbella this summer. Not only because of the impresario Stephen Webster, but also because of Bryan Ferry's amazing concert at that event. A private exclusive gala in a private villa - in La Villa del Mar at the Marbella Club. Surely a night to remember!

When I entered the private villa there was a long red carpet..actually it was a purple carpet decorated with hundreds of candles and flowers. At the end of the carpet there was a Mini Cooper from Mario Guarineri which had been designed by Stephen Webster. Everything was beautifully co-ordinated with this season’s collection. The gala had a very youthful atmosphere filled with super fashionable people and star guests. All the latest models of Guarineri's cars were in front of the gate, where all the good looking people came in. And of course Mr. Bryan Ferry - thank you very much for a fantastic and memorable concert!

It was definitely a new generation Gala with a lot of energy and very chic people mixed with Marbella's "Golden Age people". I really loved the combination as this is both Marbella today and it is also the future of Marbella.

Well done Maria Roger, the director of Stephen Webster Puerto Banus, and her excellent team and also the Marbella Club. The Marbella Club Hotel is part of Marbella's Golden Age and is alsopart of its present and future!
