I always feel so privileged to be invited to Kristina Szekely’s Hat party every year. It’s a beginning of the Spring, beginning of the social season of Marbella. It is so nice to see all of the friendly faces coming back in Marbella, beautifully dressed for the occasion. 

Kristina Szekely’s Hat party is surely one of the most elegant lunch party in Marbella and everybody is so happy to gather together in the lovely garden of La Meridiana. So many beautiful hats in different colors are carefully coordinated with outfits, bags, shoes, makeup, hair and jewellery… The elegance explodes under the soft spring sunshine. 

It was a great pleasure to look at all those people are having good time and smiling at each other, I almost forgot about myself. I was also a part of this party.

In a crisis like this, I was wondering where are all these smiles coming from as I was observing the guests. Then I realized that all the guests invited to be here, are not only close friends of Kristina. They have all dedicated themselves for their company, family, charity, and community. They are f ighters. Their smiles are coming from satisfaction of their life and strength and elegance comes from their confidence.  

All of them are someone who I look up for. I felt so proud to be there, to be part of these lovely people and appreciate their friendship and love toward to me. Indeed I am very privileged. I wish you all happy spring season to come!
