Renault won the Casino Marbella Bang & Olfsen Sailing Trophy in Marbella this weekend

Renault achieved its second consecutive victory in the latest round of The Regatta Grand Prix Costa del Sol last weekend and won  the Casino Marbella Bang & Olufsen Sailing Trophy. Iñaki Castañer's boat finished with nine points followed by Peninsula Petroleum skippered by Oliver Gongora and Paul Frese in Servimil completing the podium in second and third places respectively.

Renault performed brilliantly on the Saturday, while on Sunday Servimil was the fastest boat in the fleet.  Both races were held in very similar weather conditions: light winds with predominance of 3 to 5 knots in an easterly direction and quite unstable forcing the organisers to change the route of the last race of the day.

The next Grand Prix race of the  Costa del Sol Platú 25 organised by the Club Marítimo de Marbella takes place on April 5 –6.
