Prostitution rings smashed

Police have broken up two groups engaged in the sexual exploitation of women in brothels in Malaga, Girona and Madrid, after an investigation into complaints by two 16-year-old girls that they were being forced into prostitution.
The girls had been brought from Rumania by a couple who, together with their mother who was already in Spain, signed a contract with a pimp for their sexual exploitation in three brothels in Malaga, two in Girona and one in Madrid. The girls worked first in Girona where they were forced to drink alcohol and drugs and beaten if they refused to do anything their clients demanded. They turned to another Rumanian woman for help and she brought them to Malaga where they reported the matter to the police.
