Nicolas Di is the owner of a huge collection of champagne bottles. Not just the regular size bottles, but the biggest kind that you can find on the coast! i-Marbella found out more about the interesting collector.

1. What kind of champagne bottles do you collect?

I collect champagne bottles of 6L, 9L, 12L, 15L. I had one in Geneva that was 69L but I did not manage to keep that one - a bit big. I don't collect Magnum bottles - those are too small.

2. Where do you buy them?

The bottles are mostly from Nikki Beach, but the biggest ones are from Ocean Club and the big vodka bottles are from Funky Buddha. The photo is rather old, -I have several  more now.

3. What will you plan to do the all of the bottles? 

I plan to turn them into pieces of furniture - illuminating them with LEDs.

4. What would be the estimated price of that table when it's finished? 

The furniture is not going to be sold on the open market. The prices will be a few 1000 Euros per table,  depending  on the size of the bottles that make up the table.  Some of the tables will include features such as a touch screen computer or a LED table top.

5. Where did you come up with the idea? Has someone done anything like this before? 

I'm unique enough in my little way to come up with some original ideas. I don't care what other people do. If I feel I can do something that will look good then I will do it. 

6. Do you collect anything else?

Yes I collect pens, friends, LED light bulbs, gadgets ( acalculator that runs on water for example), Pocket Fans, Air Miles, eco-friendly products, etc. And I have a solar panel to charge my mobile phone, that I use a lot in Nikki Beach!
