In Piazza Duomo, which is the main piazza in the city of Milan and took its name after the dominating Milan Cathedral, is a huge tree that stands out with its 48 meters high in the center of the square. This year that Christmas Tree can boast an important sponsor, the jeweler Tiffany (by chance at the base with a temporary store of 200 square meters, just to the delight of women!). From December 4 to January 6 100,000 led low will illuminate the spruce, which of course, in times of eco friendly, was selected from a number of trees destinated to be destroyed. 

There are also numerous Markets open and the most popular is the Smart Market, the Christmas Market in the name of recycling and recovery this year at its 55th edition. The Smart Market will allow you to spend little and find what you want, ancient toys or clothing "vintage"! There are more than 450 exhibitors, some professional food and live music performances.

Interestingly, it seemed as if the Christmas shopping would never stop, because the streets and shops showed no sign on getting empty. There was a huge line of people even at Louis Vuitton exclusive boutique and the cashiers just kept on going.
