Eleazar Galea,  painter and sculptor from Malta, and Richard Wood from the UK, both members of the AIA (Andalucian International Artist) Group, will jointly exhibit a selection of their new works in the Galeria Lucia, C/ Maestra Ángeles Aspiazú, Fuengirola (by the horse roundabout). 

Eleazar Galea is a trained sculptor who also paints in oil and acrylic on canvas and is a new member of the AIA. Galea was recently awarded a commission  by the town of Almacar for a distinctive sculpture.

Richard Wood has been living in Mijas for over 12 years and exhibited extensively around Andalucía. His paintings take their themes and titles from local Andalucian scenes. 

The gallery owner Gerrie Gran, said “Eleazar and Richard’s works bring a fresh look to this exhibition space for the new year. It is a delightful exhibition of summer with a selection of brightly coloured abstract paintings.”

The exhibition runs from the 9th January to the 5th March daily between 12-4 and 7-11 pm, except Sundays when it is closed.
