i-Marbella Fashion Police section focused on the tv presenter Angela Cid this week. Angela is one of the most elegant women in Marbella and to find out how she keeps on looking so good, read the interview below..

1.How do you define your style?

My style is natural, practical, and always minimalist. I always try to break my classic look with some detail, but I always keep in mind that I would feel comfortable.

2.What is your ideal look for the day? And for the night?

If I have to work during the day, present an event or Institutional Act, it always requires a suit, so I have them in many colors and I always try not to be entirely classical. I combine it with an interesting shirt or for example 7Camicie has very flattering colors and always original designs! If I'm dressing for a simple day, I choose jeans or long leggings, flat shoes or boots and a few accessories. I need to be comfortable!

My closet is full of cowboy jeans! I lose track of how many I have. Last week my husband returned from a trip with 3 other pairs, and I had bought another 2 pairs that week. My favorite brands are Met and Salsa. They are the best to enhance the buttocks ....

At night, if I present an event or gala,the organisers give me clothing requirements - length, cocktail, color, etc. If I do not work, I usually choose a short dress, especially in summer. And in winter time I go back to a pair of good jeans, but with heels.

3. Do you spend much time thinking and creating your looks?

No I don't. I let myself be guided by my intuition, often unexpectedly. Only if there's a special occasion, I try to prepare more, especially the hair. I always visit Lorena Morlote, where I always get what I want and leave being happy.

4. Your essential shops are ...

The truth is that in El Corte Inglés  find it all. They also have a personal-shopper service. Francesca Sellitri  is the one I recommend to anyone who is in conflict with his/her own style, she'll fix in a minute!!!

If I want to give myself a treat for a special evening or an important event, I love Manoush, Chloe and if I want to be sexy, of course Cavalli. But good places for dresses are also Motek, Soho Trend, Brando & Co and the best shoes without a doubt you will fin in  Betty Blue - the sexiest in the summer and the best boots in the winter.

5. Do you a special garment in your closet?

I love clothes that were given by my husband or close friends. Then I know that it was bought to show affection. I also love it because when I wear it, I will think of the person who gave it to me.

6. Where do you get your style ideas: magazines, movies, music ...?
First just from myself! There are many things that are in fashion and look good on others, but I honestly do not see myself wearing them, so then I always trust myself. Then of course my husband!

7. What is your favorite color? 

I love white and beige. These are the colors that light me up for and I look very elegant.  I  know bright colors are super trendy now, but the truth is that I don't see myself wearing them. In the summer I wear bright colors more, but in winter, I stay with black, gray, beige, blue or brown and occasionally I like pink.

8. What are your favourite accessories?

A good handbag, a pair of heels, my watch and recently also big earrings. I've noticed that they can transform any look at any given time.

9. What advice would you give to have a successful style?

Always be yourself! Something that looks good on others may not look good on you! Dress according to your personality, because otherwise people would dress up and notice it right away. And never forget that less is more.
