Madrid to name a street after Steve Jobs.
The Madrid City Hall approved the measure on Wednesday
Madrid City Hall decided on Wednesday to honour Steve Jobs by using his name for a street, public area or cultural institution. The motion in favour of the late boss of Apple was unanimously passed.
In Madrid the streets and public or cultural spaces are all named after important people who have died, with only a few exceptions, such as the Parque Juan Carlos 1.
Steve Jobs died in Palo Alto, CA on October 5.
