The men were brought to Madrid on the promise of employment.

National Police in Madrid have arrested three people who obliged at least five men from Brazil to prostitute themselves in a flat in the capital. The five had been brought to Spain, captured on internet social networking sites with the false promise of employment in Spain. 

Once they were here they found themselves presented with a 4,000 € debt and were given the prostitution option. National Police say they had to find 1,200 € a month to clear their debt in instalments. They were also forced to take drugs to strengthen their libido, being charged 10 € a pill, and restrictions were such they were banned from looking out of the window or ever leaving the flat.

They were told to charge 60 € for an hour of their ‘services’ or 600 € for the whole night, but half of that had to be immediately handed over to the owner of the Chilean owner flat. One of the captors has been identified as a 34 year old Brazilian based in Aranjuez, while another is a 51 year old Spaniard who supplied the victims’ accommodation.
