18 arrests in Spain in European child pornography swoop

More than 100 arrests have been made in total.
A Europe wide operation against child pornography has resulted in more than 100 arrests, 18 of them in Spain. Codenamed ‘Icarus’ it saw the Europol and police from different countries arrest people accused of possessing and distributing child pornography images.
A number of those arrested are communications and computer technicians.
Now the job for the investigators is to try and identify the children who appear in the images found, and so see who has been the victim of any aggression.
