El Lago Restaurant of Marbella allows amateur gourmets to cook in a Michelin starred restaurant kitchen

El Lago Restaurant, owner of a Michelin Star, is giving gourmands the opportunity to cook in its litchens. Their clients, under the supervision of the kitchen staff led by head chef Diego del Río, will be able to cook dishes which they will eat later, including items from the  tasting Menu. Customers will also be able to stay in the Greenlife Golfsuites and apartments .

As well as preparing dishes in the kitchen, customers will take part in a wine tasting conducted by  Paco Garcia, El Lago's director and sommelier. They will also receive an apron as a souvenir.

 

The adventure in the restaurant kitchen begins at six o'clock in the afternoon. Diego del Río will welcome guest and explain what two tasting menu dishes they will be preparing. Customers will learn about the ingredients, food preparation and the actual cooking, following the instructions of the chef and his team. After this clients cn enjoy the wine tasting.

 

"The main objective of the idea is to allow our customers to get to know better the creative process behind a Tasting Menu", explained Paco García, El Lago Restaurant manager.

 

The price is 135 Euros per person, including the kitchen tour, dinner cooking, wine tasting, dinner, and an overnight stay and breakfast in suites.
