Marbella gain away victory!

MARBELLA vs MAIRENA CARDIOFARMA R.C. 51 - 26

Marbella Rugby Club won their first away win of the season, on their visit to bottom club Cardiofarma Mairena. This important victory also kept them in third place.
The comprehensive victory saw Marbella turn in their best away performance, scoring six tries in the first half through "Goofy", Salem, Chappel and Morales, Roberto and inderstructible Marbella president and player Paquillo. Two Salem conversions saw Marbella head into the break 5 - 34.
Marbella suffered a case of nerves in the second half, with players being sent to the sin bin and allowing Mairena to score three tries. But the team rallied impressively with tries from Rossiter and Hugo Donatoto to make the final score 26-51.
Marbella Rugby Club's next match is at home to local rivals CR Costa del Sol, and the team will be looking to build on this impressive victory.
