The Michelin starred restaurant holds its reknowned "Cocina del Autor" week this month

Michelin starred restaurant El Lago celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, and as part of a series of celebrations will be holding a gastronomic week featuring some of Spain’s leading chefs.  The sixth “Cocina de Autor” showcases the talents of different chefs on different nights over the week March 6 – 21 including Michelin nominated chefs Javier Simal from  Valladolid, José Luis Carabias from Sevilla and Rafael Centeno from Vigo, as well as the talents of El Lago’s own chef Diego del Rio.

The menus will also feature a selection of local wines, oils, cheeses and breads Paco de Garcia, director of El Lago, explained “We have had these festivals before and there has been a great response, so once again we wanted to give people the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic variety of products from the region”.
