Representatives of Marbella Town Hall, the CIT and friends of Cesare Scariolo Trust attended to the II Solidarity Breakfast.

Second time in a row friends and involved in Cesare Scariolo Trust activity have got up early to celebrate the Solidarity Breakfast. The high qualification of the speakers and current issues of their interventions distinguishes this forum. This time it was focused on the treatment, oncohematologic child care and pediatric oncology. The conferences have been managed by Ana Isabel Heiniger, the Chief of Hematology of the Hospital Regional Universitario Carlos de Haya, Maria Elvira Gonzalez, the Chef of Section of the Hospital Materno – Infantil and Arturo Aboal, the Chef of Oncology Unit of the USP Marbella.

Among the audience was: Manuel Cardeña, the Delegate of Social Welfare in the Town Hall of Marbella, Juan Jose Gonzalez, the chairman of the Tourist Initiative Centre (CIT Marbella) and vice president of the Cesare Scariolo Trust, Fernando Molina, who has thanked the public, in the name of FCS, for their commitment and attendance.

USP Marbella has enriched its relation with the institution founded by the current basketball coach, Sergio Scariolo, assuming sponsorship of this initiative.

NOTE: The FCS is a private non-profit organization created in 2008 by Sergio Scariolo, current Spanish coach and former basketball coach of Unicaja. The engine of life of Cesare Scariolo Trust is to provide direct support to children who are under cancer treatment and their families in hospitals: Materno-Infantil and Carlos Haya in Málaga.

Such support is understood as social help, economic and psychological assistance to families with children in cancer treatment but has gradually expanded its care to patients with other pathologies. The FSC also promotes initiatives in the hospitals and out of them to ensure that children enjoy leisure time made them more tolerable their disease and its consequences: cultural and sporting events, workshops, trainings, excursions, sports activities,etc...
