Sandra García-Sanjuán(40) is a businesswoman, who is originally from the Canary Islands. She is the CEO of Avory Celebrity Access.

Sandra attended Secondary school in Oxford and studied Business Economics at the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. She worked as a correspondent at Paris Match magazine for 5 years, contributing to the social/economic articles of countries such as Russia, Israel, Thailand, Philippines, Bulgaria, Italy, Slovenia, Belarus, Ukraine, etc.

From 1990 to 1995 she contributed in more than 50 International Celebrity articles for Hola magazine. In 1993 she founded AVORY CELEBRITY ACCESS and in 2002 embarked on the International Expansion Project opening in 5 years offices in Moscow, New York and Los Angeles. Since 2000 Sandra is a member of the Board of Directors of Quien magazine from Mexico. Twice a month, since 2007, she writes her own column named "Sandra´s Diary" in Fama magazine. Sandra has lived in Oxford, London, New York, Madrid and she currently resides in Barcelona. She speaks 5 languages: Spanish, English, German, French and basic Russian.

1. How would you define your style?

I use practical and comfortable wear according to my lifestyle.

2. How much time do you spend dressing up before going out?

If it is for an important event I spend more time, but in my day to day I can be ready in 10 minutes.

3. How often and where do you usually go shopping?

I love to rummage in vintage markets from other countries on my travels.

4. Where do you get your inspiration and ideas?

From special people around me who are positive, they have initiative and great projects, with interesting lives.

5. My favourite shops/brands are …

There are several women living within oneself, it depends on the day and how I feel. Within my favourites are Hip Tee, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada because she’s different and what she does is magical, Purificacion Garcia, Elie Saab o Carolina Herrera. There is an american designer who dresses many celebrities and also does fantastic things, her name is Ani Lee.

6. What is your favourite piece in the closet?

My tennis shoes given to me by my sister Paola as a present last Christmas to encourage me to go to the

gym.

7. What are your favourite colours? Why?

Yellow, without a doubt. Its the colour of the sun, the light and shining of the stars. Hence came the name Starlite.

8. What is the most expensive thing in your wardrobe?

I don´t know if its the most expensive, but the most important thing in my wardrobe is a dress from the Designer Elio Berhanyer which belonged to my mother who wore it on the day of her engagement. My story began at that moment and therefore has an incredible sentimental value for me.

9. Which celebrity style do you like the most?

That of Eugenia Silva because she has a personalized elegance. For a man, no doubt Antonio Banderas, the host of the Starlite Gala.

10. What advice would you give to have a good style.

To be himself or herself.
