Marbella's Councillor of Tourism Jose Luis Hernandez: "2011 has been very positive!"

Marbella's councillor of tourism Jose Luis Hernandez stated that 2011 has been very positive for Marbella, comparing to 2010!
He said: "Marbella 2012 has given very positive results for the city in terms of tourism. We have been able to increase the figure of tourists by 5% and also increased by 8% the number of overnight stays! Although the winter has been a bit hard, but in general terms 2011 has been very positive comparing to 2010."
Also the tourism office said has increased their activity and promotion in the Arab countries and that has had an positive effect on tourism in Marbella. They have also carried out promotion in web, and had half a million visits for their website www.marbellaexclusive.com. Positive results also from Marbella Film Office, increased the number of productions that has been shot here in Marbella by 34%!
