My No Diet Diet is a Lifestyle change. Just follow these rules to lose weight.
Rule #1 (Most important rule) Never, ever diet. Why?
The truth: diets don't work.
This is a $40 Billion industry based on two paradigms.
1. Diets usually don't work. This is a $40 Billion industry who success is based on two profound
1. That you are going to fail.
2. That you will try multiple diets. Answer these three questions.
1. Did you ever try a diet and fail? 2. Did you ever try multiple diets? 3. Does your weight fluctuate?
If your answers were no to any of these three questions,I want to introduce to a cancer doctor and an autism doctors that is hoping for a cure or a pharmaceutical company that wants their current drug to be obsolete. If I could find them.
We have a huge problem!
The food industry really wants you to eat more therefore they make more money. Check out your kids cereals. Some contain 50% sugar and some of your kids are even over weight. Bet you have a hard time keeping up with them. They tire you out! Bet you thought of even putting them of ADD medication so you could get some rest.
Why are they so hyperactive? They put sugars in 80% of foods. Sugars make you fat. They also make you eat more. They also changed the seeds that grows "modern wheat. They love it and farmers love it! They both doubled the wheat crop and their profits. And the opiate protein that they included was free of charge. Why you ask? It makes you hungrier. Did you ever here of the "Munchies"? Even your stupid brain all the way to Neanderthal times thinks it knows your weight; it's call Set Point.
When you loose weight, your brain sends you a signal you should be hungry therefore eat. It worked for the caveman but not so much you. You see they had limited food but you have unlimited food. Another thing your stupid brain does is slow your metabolism. Ever try to lose weight? The first 10 pounds is easy but the next pound is unbelievably hard.
Your stupid brain has another huge problem. When you eat more and gain weight, your brain thinks your new weigh is your set point. That why people get fatter and fatter! The diet industry wants you to loose weigh and put them and all the people writing diet books out of business.
What is the secret to losing weight?
Rule #2: Eat more vegetables and fruit at least 7 servings a day.
Rule #3 Eat smarter and moderately.
Don't eat bad foods or replace them with good foods. If you want to lose weight and enjoy better health, you must eat better. Remember garbage in/ garbage out. When your out for dinner or at home, make good choices for each. Use my not diet as a guide. When your out eat smart and when the waiter says," any room for desert"? You say "NO". Why most of them are mostly sugars and sugars make you fat.
(I used to believe in the U.S., when why asked, Any room for dessert? They actually had a plunger for your mouth, to make room in your full stomach to make room your desert. I nevered order the deserts all the time especially the one called "Death by Chocolate". What a terrible name or a way to die (I wonder if anyone died that way?). Did you ever eat so much, you feel to full. Don't! Eating out is not a smorgasbord or a good reason to over eat.
Rule # 4. Exercise (sorry) But accept my apology if you work like a caveman.
I especially enjoy water aerobics with an instructor. Why? You don't sweat (the water keeps you cooler and provide a natural resistance ) and the instructor makes you do more than you usually would do. Do get me wrong, a have nothing against sweat and if you like too get sweaty and need a shower, go ahead (I always get a shower after the pool in the locker room.
Avoid these Risk?
Dirt! Kids don't play enough outside or in the dirt today. Actually the bacteria helps their immune systems Develop. It protects them from illness and allergies. Almonds have significantly reduced the risk in baby's of nut allergies.Pregnant mothers should eat some almonds.
Brazil nuts (you know those big ones) have selenium that reduces the chance of prostrate cancer in men.
These might be rubbish opinions from me, but our you willing to take the risk? A little dirt, some almonds, and a few Brazil nuts are the risk. Small risk!
My lifestyle change!
After two brain strokes, suffering from high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. I have drastically changed my lifestyle. I don't eat: sugar, salt (bad for high blood pressure), meat, flour, bread, pizza (remember Pizza is not a vegetable and neither is catsup (too much sugar), coke (both diet and regular), egg yokes (high in cholesterol),dairy, and, butter. No oils (but a little olive) and processed foods.
Why not to eat meat?
27,000 people die each year form resistance bacteria in meat and other 2.6 million people suffer with food poisoning from meat every year. Some of you will die but most will be sick from 1 to 12 days. Didn't get the email? It was never sent.
I eat oatmeal,multi-grain cereal, nuts, blueberries, and apples (all good for low blood pressure). Also a protein powder with water, and a yogurt drink that suppose to lower your cholesterol by 10%. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables.you need 5 or 7 servings each day. I do eat a little rice, potatoes, and spaghetti.(try non-white versions or unrefined. Carbohydrates got a bad rap in the 80's. Again, moderation is key
I eat 5 egg omelets with spinach with no yokes, (optional chicken and fish) and no meats. I drink water, liquid yogurt (says it reduces cholesterol), protein mix with water and almond milk. I don't smoke, drink alcoholic brewages, or non-prescription drugs.
The wheat today is modern wheat it grows twice as big and the farmers and food industry loves it. Why shouldn't they! They both get twice the wheat and therefore twice the money. The food industry during developing it, somehow created a protein opiate in it. Seems this opiate makes you want to eat more. I believe the food industry is working feverish to remove the opiate. Who wants you to eat more? Your not a cow, pig, or chicken? You aren't an animal and if you eat more, they made more money.
My blood pressure was 150/100 and my cholesterol was 325.
My blood pressure is 100/50 and 113/58 last week. My cholesterol was 58.
I exercise 30 minutes every day and attend rehabilitation sessions.
I'll lost 50 pounds or 23 kilos.
But remember, reducing sugars in your diet is extremely important. Sugars are hidden in all foods.
Two thin slices of multi- grain bread (healthy?) contains 10 teaspoons of sugars.
Two liter bottle of coke contains a whopping 26 teaspoon of sugars. Even a small orange juice contains 3 teaspoons.
Remember, sugars comes in many forms including the cheap sweetener: Aspartame that the food industry adds to every thing.The food producers hide sugars in everything. In fact 80% of the foods you eat has sugars. Why? Your a Sugar addict. Your get a sugar high. Also, don't take artificial sweeteners except real stevia. Real stevia nut Truvia. Truvia is a good insecticide. The cheap aspartame found In a million products including Coke and all diet drinks is killing you. It is making Monsanto rich. What's a few deaths to making Monsanto wealthy?
Remember, salt elevates your blood pressure. Milk is the only drink or food that can make people sick (lactose intolerance). Wheat can make you sick too (gluten). They way meat is processed today can make you sick. Lack of good inspections affect vegetables (Salmonella). The jury is still out on G.MO.s. Water shouldn't come in plastic bottles made of oil. Demand good water. There are filters you can install to your drinking water.
With this lifestyle change, you will also notice your hair this better and your finger nails are stronger and harder.
