The fabulous singer Yanela Brooks (29), who is originally from Cuba, had her Birthday on May 2 and i-Marbella decided to find out more about her big day!

1. How did you celebrate your Birthday? Or how are you going to celebrate it?

I celebrated my Birthday in Madrid with my husband, my mum and a little group of friends. But I will celebrate it once again with many friends at Golden Goose today. The party starts at 22.00 and of course everybody is invited.

2. What kind of gifts did you receive? 

I received many beautiful gifts, such as flowers, perfumes, but most important was my the company of my friends and all the love I get from my family. 

3. How important are Birthdays to you? 

I think Birthday is the perfect ocassion to feel how people love you, even if they are not at the same place with you on that day.

4. What is the most memorable Birthday you have had? Why?

I'd have to say, it was when I became 19 years old. It was a big party that my mum had organised for me and she was able to get all my friends together at the same time. It really meant a lot to me and of course it was a really fun Birthday.

5. Do you believe in horoscopes? 

I absolutely believe in horoscopes, I feel completely a Taurus. I'm outgoing and always very happy! I think that every sign has its own personality, but for example I get along well with Gemini and male Leos.
