Viktor Zelikov Romanov is only 13 years old, but will open his own exhibition this Friday, 4th of March 19 o'clock at Kasser Rassu Gallery - Showroom, in front of Marbella Club Hotel(next to the restaurant "Love to eat"). He is the son of the fabulous singer Natasha Romanov. i-Marbella had an exclusive interview with the young talent before the opening. 

1. What do You do?

I'm a student in English International College and I am only 13 years old, so I'm still studying. But I am interested in all the creative arts. In the past I have been really enthusiastic about playing the piano, performing magic, painting, making my own videos. But now I am focusing more on my photography. Recently, I think because my mother, who loves singing and performing, I have started to enjoy singing myself. 

2. Where did Your interest in photography come from?

My interest in photography came from a very special friend, who has taught me now for almost 6 years. I was once very bored in Sweden and I kept on sending her all these emails with funny pictures. One day, I received an email from her saying that I should try to take photographs of everything, especially my grandmother's garden, which she loved.

3. What do You mostly photograph?

I photograph mostly people, but especially nature, because I am inspired by it's beauty in all ways. I enjoy taking photographs of people because it gives memories of good times. It's interesting and beautiful to take photos of people when they don't know that they are being photographed. For example one of my best photographs is a photo of my brother and my cousin Ursula sitting on a jetty with their back to the camera, completely unaware of my presence. The photo was taken in England on a lake that, where we used to  walk to every day.

4. What or who inspires You?

Steven Spielberg inspires me because he has a wonderful vision of things and I love his movies because some of them are action, adventure etc. He takes on big stories and takes you right in the heart trough his understanding filming and creating big projects which always became blockbusters. 

Johnny Depp is my favorite actor because he has a very strong facial expression and body movement in all the movies he's in. I especially like Pirates Of The Caribbean because the way he acts there is humorous, clever and original.

5. What kind of camera do You use?

2 years ago, when I started taking photos, I first used my iPhone. Then after about 6 months my brother, my mother and I took a trip to Morocco and she let me borrow her digital camera Sony cybershot. After a year he let me use her Nikon D200 and it is now my current camera.

6. What are Your other hobbies?

Other hobbies that I have are singing, skiing and paddle.

7. What are Your ambitions and goals?

My goal for now are to learn the techniques of cinema and all its secrets from a film director, who is good friends with my mother. For when I am o lder my ambition is to be a total success and become a famous film director, who will produce blockbusters.

8. Do You have any idols?

My idol is my mother, because I love her and she wants all the best for me. She believes in me and is the most caring and warmhearted person in the world. I have huge respect for her.
