At the end of the Tarifa bay, there is a special place where people go to have a natural spa session with clay!

The area of Punta Paloma is situated at the end of the Tarifa bay, around 10km opposite of Tarifa town. The beach is easy to find, just look out for the large sand dunes at this end of the bay and there is also a parking area very close to it! If you get to the beach start walking right, towards the cliffs. On the way you will notice a natural fountain, where you can satisfy your thirst and fill up your empty water bottles.

Once you get to the cliffs you will most probably notice people there putting on some clay on their bodies! All of those rocks when crumbled and mixed with ocean water become greyish clay that you can use to make a mask, not only on your face, but all over your body! After letting it dry wash it off in the sea and you can feel how soft it makes your skin.

Also after the cliffs there are some very private areas for sunbathers and for sure, these beaches are one of the nicest in Andalusia!
