The Hotel Gran Melia Don Pepe in Marbella welcomed this morning's press conference presenting the Dynamic Walk-A-Thon and The Global Gift Gala which will be held in Marbella on the 18th and 19th August. The host of the press conference was the famous actress Eva Longoria, as well as the organizer, Maria Bravo, the Mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, and Vice President of the Foundation Cesare Scariolo, Blanca Ares.

One of the organizers of this weekend is the founder of the philanthropic Manda Events, Maria Bravo, who together with Eva Longoria chose Marbella as one of the cities for The Global Gift Gala. "It's a city that you fall in love with and from the first time when I came here I loved it -  its climate, its beauty and because it is also internationally renowned," said the actress. 

In addition, Maria Bravo also thanked Augusto Aloisio for his initiative, and Dynamic Fitness Marbella, to incorporate this altruistic project. The Dynamic Walk-a-Thon is open for everybody and to register it costs 25 euros.

Meanwhile, Eva Longoria told the audience the need to carry out this type of events for charities such as the national coach of basketball, Cesare Scariolo Foundation and of course for her own The Foundation Eva Longoria. And this year's gala is supported by the presence of famous faces such as Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break), Deepak Chopra, Chenoa, DianaNavarro and Pastora Soler. This year the organization will present the Humanitarian Award and Excellence Award at the Global Gift Gala. 

The mayoress of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, said that "Marbella has the honor to be identified with a wonderful initiative as The Global Gift Gala and the Dynamic Walk-a-Thon and a beloved character like Eva Longoria."

Maria Bravo ensured that 100% of donations of the weekend will go to philanthropic foundations and beneficiaries and the Hotel Gran Melia Don Pepe and the sponsors will be responsible for all costs of the various events.
